What's new on Paddle

Sellers using express checkout will now show Google Pay as a main payment button for eligible buyers, depending on their device, browser, and Google Pay setup.

Google Pay will automatically appear as a primary payment button for buyers when:

1. The seller is using the express checkout variant.
2. Google Pay is already enabled in their Paddle dashboard.
3. The buyer is on an Android/ Google device with Google Pay set up.

Things to note

• Sellers not using express checkout will continue to show Google Pay as they do today.
• Email is collected automatically from the Google Pay payment sheet, so buyers do not need to enter it before paying.
